Have
a very Merry Christmas
It’s that time of year that everyone, even atheists,
start thinking about Jesus.
Now, I admit,
They don’t think the same thing about Him that
Christians do, but at least they have to “think” about Him in order to protest
against Him. They have to confront who we “know” Him to be.
His life still matters enough that people who have guilt
in their lives want Him gone.
They want to get rid of this righteous man who is called
the Son of God.
Even the mere mention of His name, or the writing of it
on a sign. . .
Even something associated with Him like Christmas
trees, Christmas songs, Christians or even Christmas candy
makes them upset!
His name is POWERFUL enough to bring peace to those who
seek Him, or strife to those who reject Him.
Yet, this same Jesus loved us enough to come – from heaven
– to forgive us from our sins and redeem us if we only repent and ask.
What do you want for Christmas? What are you seeking? Are you seeking HIM?
Are you seeking strife?
This Christmas is a good time to search our hearts. . .
See if we need to repent and ask Jesus for help. . .
Maybe we need to make “a list” of things we’d like Jesus
to forgive us for. . .He’ll help us.
Maybe we have list of those we need to ask to forgive us.. . .It’s worth what it will cost you to make things right.
And then just maybe we can make another list with those
we need to give the gift of our forgiveness to,
even if they don’t ask.
even if they don’t ask.
If we do this, we’ll have “made room” for HIM in our
life.
So. . .this year give the best gifts. . .the ones you
can’t buy but they bring the greatest rewards. . .
then go ahead. . . buy some “thing” for them too if you
want and can afford it.
By forgiving those who’ve brought sorrow into your life,
you’ll be able to receive the BEST GIFT. . .
Forgiveness
for yourself and fellowship with Jesus.

1 John 1:9
9 If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.

Just checking back for any new items you may have posted.
I left a note of invitation in the comment section on one of your past posts’ and invited you to follow my blog. Just in case it was accidently overlooked, just want you to know the invitation is still very much valid…and of course, I am already following your blog.
P.S. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas.
I did go to your blog and I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. I too think a real Christian is one who examines himself daily, then allows the Lord to point out what he's missed.
Our nation has been drifting further and further from the truth of God's Word. . .that's very dangerous. I just thank God for the allowing me the grace to make Jesus my choice. I too want to stand up for Him no matter what "furnace" I face.
